Background: In 2025, the Toronto Raptors reached their 30th anniversary as a franchise, and retired their first number for the player who put Toronto on the map, Vince Carter.
The Ask: Develop an anniversary mark to celebrate three decades of Raptors Basketball—the impact we have left and the dreamers who will carry us forward.
For Vince Carter: Design a commemorative city court at Scotiabank Arena and a series of outdoor courts at Dixon Park to celebrate his legacy. Create an immersive in-arena installation honoring Carter’s career.

Through the multiple options presented to Carter to the final court design, all courts nodded to the iconic silhouette of Vince Carter’s dunk, and his retired Raptors number, #15. With a play on his nickname, “Air Canada”, the same silhouette ended up on a plane!
